Celebrating the
Age of Aquarius
at
IMAGINE

© 2006-2009 Dawning of Aquarius by Miskis

On February 14, 2009, many astrologers worldwide saw the birth of the Age of Aquarius, when Jupiter aligning with Mars in Aquarius.

This change in the Age happens around every two thousand years - the last one coincided with the arrival of Christ. Thousands of years ago, it was predicted that the arrival of the Age of Aquarius would be sometime around the millennium. On Feb. 14, 2009, the Age of Aquarius arrived, with not much fanfare.

In 1969 at Woodstock - music & arts festival, hippies sang about the impending arrival of the "Age of Aquarius", an age of PEACE, LOVE, and UNITY. You probably heard of the platinum selling song the "Age of Aquarius", the correct name of the song is "Let the Sunshine In" by the Fifth Dimension, and was also part of the musical "Hair".

Now, that the Age of Aquarius has arrived, it is a time for world change, the theme of the IMAGINE - music and arts festival.

The time of world change, called the Age of Aquarius, simply means that we are leaving the age of Pisces and entering into the Age of Aquarius. The last change of Age was around two thousand years, coinciding with the arrival of Christ.

Major developments - such as science, computers and technology are all signs of the Age of Aquarius. Alternative medicine, astrology, vegetarianism and other subjects previously considered weird are growing rapidly in popularity, and are all subjects associated with the sign of Aquarius. The election of the first black president Obama in the USA is also a sign of change.

This Golden Age is suppose to free the minds of ignorance and delusion. Each human being will begin his or her individual journey within, and strive to become the new race of super conscious humans awakening seekers of "truth and the eternal spirit", healing peoples of many tongues and nations in the process.

We can still hear the echoes of John Kennedy's call to action and see the vision of Martin Luther King's dream. Before he and his dream were shot down in 1968, he said we as a people "would get to the promised land". The promise land is the promise of the Age of Aquarius.

The more enlightened members of society will welcome the New Dawn with its emphasis on humanity, kindness, truth, unification of humanity, spirituality and enlightenment.

Also, mystically, Aquarius signifies friendship and creativity. Friendship bursts upon us in its most elevated sense, in its most noble aspect — with understanding, collaboration, and fraternity. Love and friendship will have nothing to do with possessing or ego. This is the era of peace, of unity, of love.

Come celebrate the Age of Aquarius with us at the IMAGINE - music and arts festival.

Vision
    "2 days of Love and Music to Change the World "

We invite all the citizens of the world to gather in Canada in 2010; bring all your hopes and dreams to change the world from ME 2 WE!

850,000 people at Downsview Park - World Youth Day

The IMAGINE - music & arts festival is inspired by John Lennon's song "Imagine". It is also being infused with the spirit of WOODSTOCK '69 (and LIVE8), to create a “SPARK” for massive environmental and social change.

Since music is a universal language that unites people, we want to use it as a unifying force to unite 300 million people to take action on tacking some of the world's most pressing problems, such as: poverty, peace, sustainability, health, the extinction of species, equal rights, the environment, and the future of our planet.

EARTHSHIP Summit

IMAGINE is part of Artist David Kam's visionary EARTHSHIP Summit, to coincide with the G8 World Leaders Meeting, happening at the same time.

G8 World Leaders Meeting 2007

The G8 World Leaders Meeting is a meeting of the world's richest nations (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, the UK and the US), representing 14% of the world's population, and 65% of the world economy. The combined G8 military spending was US$850 billion, representing 72% of the world's total military expenditures and accounting for 96-99% of the world's nuclear weapons.

The EARTHSHIP Summit will be an alternative people's summit to complement the G8 World Leaders Meeting. We plan to invited to the EARTHSHIP Summit, 200 of the world's poorest nations aka non-G8 nations, non-profit organizations, green businesses, and concerned citizens of the world.

Citizens worldwide coming to our happening will be able to share the beauty of art, listen to music and deal with issues such as: poverty, peace, sustainability, health, the extinction of species, equal rights, the environment, and the future of our planet.

We plan to produce a summary report of the world's concerns for submission to all the G8 World Leaders.

The theme of IMAGINE is "2 days of Love and Music to Change the World" and is being dubbed "Woodstock for the WE Generation".

We want to make the happening one of the most spectacular world changing events of the 21st century. Don't miss it!

Artist David Kam believes that ordinary people can make a positive impact on society. Artist David Kam is not rich, nor is he famous, nor is he even well connected; he is just a ordinary unknown artist with a small idea and a big dream, so join him and millions of other ordinary people to change the world from ME 2 WE together. Imagine!

Artie says, "we will unite four generations to bring back the spirit of Woodstock '69 to change the world from ME 2 WE. I believe that what we did at Woodstock in 1969 helped the civil rights movement, and eventually ended the Vietnam war; it also set the stage for Obama to be elected President of the United States and I am so proud of that". People are still dying from poverty, the planet is polluted, numerous species are facing extinction, there is still war and injustice. Artie Kornfeld, invites the entire Woodstock Nation to bring back the spirit of Woodstock '69 to the world.

Join (FREE) the alliance of dreamers for this historical event to save planet earth and humanity. We will plant 1 tree for every new member that registers.

Our Social Commitment for a Greener Society

Artist David Kam recognizes that rock concerts themselves will not save our planet or save humanity, but we believe it can be a universal language that unites us all to be more socially conscious. We have backed up the concert with positive action:

IMAGINE hopes to keep commercialization to a minimum, whenever possible:

  • by selecting bands and sponsors that reflect the true spirit of the EARTHSHIP Summit;

  • all cups, plates and utensils will be made from corn starch/potato starch and will be biodegradable, whenever possible;

  • all napkins and paper products will be made from 100% recyclable paper, whenever possible;

  • Energy for the concert will be supplied by hydro-electricity, a renewable resource - with almost zero carbon footprint.

Money raised money for the E=MC² Foundation will be used to fund the following charitable programs:

  • have exhibitions that teach people to be more green;

  • have conferences to discuss and shares ideas on saving planet earth and humanity.

Make Hunger History:

This is a program which teams up with supermarkets and food manufacturers to fight malnutrition and poverty, by helping poor farmers buy seeds and farm equipment, create wells and water purification programs, provide jobs for the poor and provide emergency meals to the desperately hungry. Sustainable Schools Competition:

This program is to make 10,000 schools more sustainable .Winners will receive plane tickets and VIP backstage passes to the concerts.
